Marketa joined the Computer Laboratory in 2016 where she has been working in the Postgraduate Education Office. Marketa helps with the day-to-day administration for both the MPhil in Advanced Computer Science course and the PhD in Computer Science course.
She is also the administrator for the following programmes and initiatives:
• Research Skills Programme (RSP)
• Postgraduate Students' Forum
• Women@CL
Being a qualified primary school teacher, Marketa enjoys teaching children on Saturdays at the Czech School Cambridge which she founded at the end of 2019. Her other interests include playing the piano, learning to play the guitar, reading, running, hiking and skiing.
