Application
To apply for the programme, please complete this application form by 09:00 on Monday 19 February 2024.
To complete the application form, you will need:
- University transcript
- Recent CV (maximum one page)
- Details of your nominated referee
- If applicable - Your most recent official letter/screenshot with your entitlement summary from Student Finance confirming you receive the full state support for maintenance from the UK government.
Your referee will be asked to provide a reference to support your application to the programme, including commenting on:
- Your academic performance, academic potential, and motivation;
- Your intellectual characteristics;
- Your suitability for the programme.

You will be asked to indicate your preferences of research areas (up to four) that you would like to work on in the application form. If you are successful, we will try to match your interests to available projects/supervisors based on your indicated preferences, availability, and any additional entry requirement(s) for individual projects. Note that we might not be able to meet your preference, but we will try our best to do so whenever possible.

The last part of the application is an interview, which will take place in the week beginning 1 April 2024.
We expect to notify applicants of the outcome by email on the week commencing 29 April 2024.
