The Hall of Fame Awards take place annually to celebrate the success of companies founded by Computer Science and Technology graduates and staff. Winners of the 2022 awards were announced at the Cambridge Ring dinner in April 2023. More information on the winners can be found here.

Hall of Fame Award categories are listed below.

Category 1 – Company of the Year

The company must be a member of the Ring Hall of Fame. If a company is eligible but not currently listed, please contact us to ensure that it gets added.

Category 2 – Product of the Year

The product concerned must have been released commercially in the calendar year (or the previous 3 years), and principally developed by the company itself. The product must be hardware, software, licensable technology, or a service.

Category 3 – Better Future Award

Recognises significant humanitarian, philanthropic or social enterprise work done by Computer Science and Technology graduates and staff during the calendar year.

Category 4 – Publication of the Year

Awarded to the most significant peer-reviewed paper by a Ring or Computer Science and Technology member published during the calendar year.
