William Gates Building
- On the ground floor is the WGB Café
- There is also a vending machine with sweets and crisps on the first-floor balcony (near the back entrance of Lecture Theatre 2)
West Cambridge
West Hub
A focal point for the West Cambridge Site community, this co-working Hub also houses the University Canteen, Occidente Kitchen and Bar, a University Catering Services-run coffee shop and a little shop selling snacks, sweets and some other foods.
Ray Dolby Centre
On the 3rd floor of the Centre you will find the Cavendish Café run by the Cambridge Dining Company. Offers a good view of the West Cambridge Site, along with the ability to soak some sun at the balcony (weather permitting). The café space also has accessible microwaves and a water fountain. Open Monday-Friday, 08.30 am – 3.30 pm.
Scholars Brew
Scholars Brew (formerly the West Café) has been recently refurbished in the beginning of 2026 and now welcomes guest for coffees and pastries, but also hot mains and jacked potatoes. You can find it at the end of the JJ Thomson Ave at the Hauser Forum. Open Monday-Friday, 8 am – 5 pm
