Our virtual open days
Thank you for your interest in studying computer science at the University of Cambridge and attending these virtual open days. We're extremely sorry that we haven't had the opportunity to meet you in person, show you our building, give you a live lecture on our Tripos, and answer any questions that you have. We hope that you have found both our sample lecture and pre-recorded admissions talk interesting and they have given you a flavour of what life as a computer science student is like here. We have linked to them again below, in case you have missed them or want to watch again, along with a video made by one of our current students about our course. Also, linked are PDF leaflets explaining more about the Tripos and examples of how students with different computer science interests might progress through it. We're also really sorry that, unfortunately, for a variety of reasons we were unable to run live Q&A sessions for those interested in computer science during these open days.

However, we realise that you may have questions that the videos and existing web pages haven't answered, either about admissions or the course more generally. We are developing a page of frequently asked questions based on questions raised by the virtual open days that will hopefully answer many of your queries—this is a live web page that we will update over the course of the virtual open days and beyond. Please do check there first to see whether your question has already been answered. If it hasn't then please get in touch with us via open-days@cst.cam.ac.uk and we will do our best to answer you directly. We will accept emails up to 5pm on Friday 18 September.
