Websites and prospectuses are great for gathering information on degree courses, but they are not a substitute for meeting the lecturers in person and exploring student life yourself. Each year we participate in a range of events that give you the opportunity to quiz those involved in running the computer science course.

Open Days 2020

The University of Cambridge as a whole has two big open days every year, which incorporates the Computer Science annual open days. In 2020, the open days are on Thursday 2th July and Friday 3th July 2020.

The Computer Laboratory will be organising demonstrations of student projects and faculty research. Visitors also have the chance to speak one-to-one with Directors of Studies for Computer Science and current students as well as explore Cambridge. Please note no booking is required to visit the Lab. For further information please see the information poster.

The Computer Science admissions talk will be at 1.30pm and 3.00pm (please note the 3.00pm talk is a repeat of the 1.30pm talk) on both Thursday and Friday, in Lecture Theatre 1 of the Computer Laboratory.

Everyone is welcome to attend the Computer Lab events, including students of any level, parents, guardians, and teachers. If you also wish to attend the Central University Admissions Talk or College Open Days, booking is essential and please see the University Open Days page for further information.

For those unable to attend an open day the current admissions brochure is available. You may also be interested in the example pathways which show how our course has inspired a range of typical students with different specialisms.
