On the morning of Tuesday, 4th October 2016 we will upgrade the web server software behind the main Lab web site.
If you are using .htaccess files in order to restrict access to some of your web pages to certain users or Internet addresses then you need to be aware that the syntax in .htaccess files related to restricting access to certain Internet addresses has changed between Apache 2.2 and 2.4. You should review all your .htaccess files, and update them where necessary soon after next Tuesday.
We have prepared some tools to help you with this review. Further details of the changes and instructions on how to use the tools can be found at /anfs/www/tools/share/migration/README.txt.
