We are about to release a new terminal server (ts01.ad.cl.cam.ac.uk) to replace the ones (waterloo & charingcross) that have been in service for the last 6 years.
This runs on Windows 2008 rather than 2003 and so roaming profiles are not shared between the old and new services. In addition the version of Office on the new server is Office 2007 which has a radically different user interface to previous versions.
At present there are some difficulties in getting the rdesktop clients to present the correct domain as default at login. If you have a problem then quote your username as crsid@ad.cl.cam.ac.uk rather than just crsid.
