Although not yet announced on the CentOS web site, CentOS 5.7 has been released, which includes a new kernel which fixes the bug which caused the machine to OOPS if an NFS file lock was attempted. As such, there will be a campaign of rebooting CentOS 5 machines, such as slogin-serv

and miscellaneous other Lab servers. As CentOS systems automatically do "dot" upgrades, systems should automatically install the new kernel, and all that should be needed to move to the new kernel is a reboot.
