About the Conference
The Oxbridge Women in Computer Science Conference 2025, a one-day event, will be held on Saturday, 3rd May 2025 in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Cambridge. We will have keynote speakers, oral and poster presentations, panel discussions, and more!
Registration
Registration is completely free, and we’ll provide breakfast, lunch, refreshments, and a conference dinner at Westminster College (please note that spaces for dinner are limited, and priority will be given to those who have submitted an abstract). For participants traveling from Oxford, we’re also offering free coach transportation, ensuring you have everything you need for an unforgettable experience (expect departure from Oxford at 7am). We will prioritise members of the Women@CL and OxWocs networks due to capacity reasons, however everyone is welcome to register for attending the conference.
Don’t miss out - register by March 28th, 2025.
Agenda
Join us for a full day of inspiring keynotes, engaging research presentations, hands-on workshops, and networking opportunities — all culminating in a formal dinner at Westminster College (please check if you are eligible). The conference runs from 9:30 AM to 8:30 PM.

Abstracts
Call for Abstract Submissions - Deadline 10th of March
We strongly encourage current undergraduates, postgraduates, research assistants, and postdocs to submit abstracts of their research. This conference provides a supportive and friendly environment, making it ideal for first-time presenters. Due to the high demand for the formal dinner, priority will be given to those who submit abstracts.
Presenters will be selected in one of two formats: oral or poster presentations. Oral presentations will consist of a 10-minute talk followed by a 5-minute Q&A session. Selection for oral presentations will be based on the quality of the abstract and will aim to represent a broad range of research areas in computer science. All abstracts, whether for oral or poster presentations, will be reviewed by the Reviewing Committee for clarity, relevance, and quality, with acceptance notifications sent by April 7th. Participants will either be assigned an oral or a poster presentation. Prizes will be awarded for the best oral and poster presentations.
How to write a good conference abstract Workshop - 11th February 2025
