The Computer Laboratory is pleased to announce that the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (IMA) will award its 2012 Gold Medal to Dr Malcolm Sabin.
The IMA Gold Medals are awarded in recognition of outstanding contributions to mathematics and its applications over a period of years.
Dr Sabin has worked with the Graphics and Interaction research group since the early '90s on a range of projects related to modelling with curves and surfaces.
