Jiang has been a member of the IT support team since June 2001. Her main duty is to provide first and second line support to PhD students and administrative, academic and research staff of the department with more details given below.
- looking after and maintaining computer systems and networks (including wiring) and IP telephones of the department
- installing both Linux and Windows operating systems
- helping diagnose hardware and software faults and solving technical and application problems
- updating equipment and networking wiring database
- printing posters for the members from the department
- creating lab system accounts for new members of staff and visitors
- issuing department-managed entrance cards for short term visitors
