I’m a research associate at University of Cambridge working with Prof. Rafal Mantiuk. I received my Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Seoul National University as a member of Optical Engineering and Quantam Electronics Lab, formerly led by Prof. Byoungho Lee. Prior to this, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Seoul National University.

I'm a recipient of Sejong Science Fellowship grant funded by Korean government. Previously, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Seoul National University, a research scientist intern at Meta Reality Labs.


I'm currently interested in building visual perception models and quality metrics with evaluation dataset collected with next-generation displays. Broadly, my research lies at the intersection of augmented/virtual reality, computational 3D displays, visual perception and computer graphics.
