Andrei Paleyes

Andrei is a member of ML@CL group led by Prof. Neil Lawrence.

He is interested in machine learning deployment and how it can be improved with better software systems. Before starting his PhD journey Andrei was developing software for a decade, working on everything from web applications to data center infrastructure to ML applications.

Andrei served as a member of the action team at the Royal Society DELVE, an interdisciplinary group that provided data-driven advice on various aspects of combating COVID-19. Contributed to a number of reports, blog posts and publications.

Andrei is actively participating in Open Source, and is the main developer of Emukit, Python library for uncertainty quantification methods.
