- Outreach Administrator
I recently joined the department as Outreach Administrator and my job involves organising and running outreach events, as well as documenting their impact. The aim of these outreach events is to showcase Computer Science in a fun and engaging manner to increase participation in it at GCSE level and beyond! Particularly, I'd love to encourage more women and those from minority backgrounds to consider studying Computer Science.
Biography
I was an undergraduate student at the department between 2019 and 2022. Since graduating I've been a research intern at TechWolf, and was most recently working as a Software Developer at Softwire.
As someone from a working class background, I know from first-hand experience how important outreach is, so I'm incredibly excited about my new role.
