The Finance Team supports the Department of Computer Science and Technology with all financial operations. The team manages the Department’s Chest budget, processes expense claims, oversees the stores, handles invoicing, and make payments.
The team also assists researchers by providing financial information for research grants, including pre-award costing, post-award reporting, and supporting compliance with sponsor requirements.
Biography
Ellen leads the Finance Team in the Department. Ellen is a qualified accountant and joined the Department after nine years in the University’s Finance Division, where she worked in the Academic and Financial Planning and Analysis section.
Before moving into finance, Ellen completed a PhD and has worked as an analytical chemist across industry, charity, and research sectors.
