Biography
I arrived as an undergraduate student at Trinity in 1988 where I studied for a B.A. in Electrical and Information Science Engineering, followed by a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence with a thesis on face recognition. In the mid-90s, after working at the Olivetti Research Laboratory, I moved to the City where I spent over 20 years in investment banking covering senior roles in trading and risk management. I started at Credit Suisse Financial Products in Canary Wharf and was later hired by Unicredit as one of the founders of their investment bank in Milan. My current areas of interest include decentralised finance, machine learning and smart software applications for the financial industry.
