Robert Watson and Jonathan Anderson have won the Publication of the Year Award 2011, at the Cambridge Ring's Hall of Fame Awards, for 'Capsicum: Practical Capabilities for UNIX'.

This research in operating system and application security was performed in collaboration with Ben Laurie and Kris Kennaway at Google, and supported by a grant from Google. The paper, which also won the best student paper award at the 2010 USENIX Security Symposium, can be found on the Capsicum Project web page.

Robert Watson is now a post-doctoral researcher at the Computer Laboratory, supported by grants from DARPA and Google.
