The Science Student of the Year winners were recently announced at The Science, Engineering & Technology (SET) Student of the Year Awards in London.
Congratulations to Peter Calvert who won The BCS Award for the Best Information Technology Student for 'Parallelisation of Java for Graphics Processors'.
The SET Awards are established as Europe's most important awards for science and engineering undergraduates.
Peter will be starting a PhD at the Computer Laboratory in October, supervised by Professor Alan Mycroft
