There are two types of buttons located around the department:
- The 'Push-to-Exit' buttons, which are green and give entry to doors located around the building
- The 'Panic Buttons', which are red and located on the outside of each balcony or court yard.
In the dark, these two buttons can become confused as they look identical except for their colour.
The panic buttons are to be used in the case of an EMERGENCY only.
