Panopto is a video recording and hosting platform. User permissions in Panopto are inherited from Moodle: each Panopto folder is linked with a course in Moodle, and the folder permissions are inherited from user permissions in Moodle. You can either record videos using the Panopto desktop software and upload them, or upload videos recorded with other software.
