Improving diversity in AI 'would benefit society'

"I’d urge you to consider a career in AI and data science," PhD student Michelle Seng Ah Lee told black state school students recently. "It would benefit industries and society, making sure diverse backgrounds are represented in algorithms we release into the wild."
