Welcome to the 7th Oxbridge Women in Computer Science Conference!

We are delighted to announce the seventh Oxbridge Women in Computer Science Conference, to be held on 12th March 2020, in Cambridge, UK. The Oxbridge Women in Computer Science Conference is an annual conference that aims to bring together junior and senior female computer scientists at Cambridge and Oxford, with the aim to encourage collaboration through formal and informal discussion.

The conference will include talks by key speakers from academia and industry who will share their experiences with the participants. .

Everyone is welcome to attend the conference. There is no registration fee for the conference; and snacks, lunch and a conference dinner will be provided free of charge. The deadline for registration is 23rd February 2020. Coach transportation will be provided free of charge for all participants travelling from Oxford. 

Current undergraduate, MPhil/MSc, PhD/DPhil female students, RAs and PostDocs are encouraged to submit abstracts for presentations and posters on their topic of research.  Presentations will be 10 minutes long. There are no proceedings for the conference, and hence posters can be under submission for other conferences or workshops. The deadline for submission has been extended to 6th February 2020. For more details see the Call for Papers, Posters and Lightning Talks page.

The Selection Committee will review all abstracts for presentations, whereas all poster abstracts will be accepted. Notifications of acceptance for presentations will be sent by 14th February 2020. (All rejected presentations will be offered a poster slot.)
