Fadel Adib (MIT)

Abstract: TBD

Bio: Fadel's research group explores and develops new technologies and algorithms for wireless perception, networking, and sensing with a focus on subsea IoT, digital medicine, and robotic micro-sensing. Their research draws on tools from computer networks, signal processing, machine learning, and hardware design.

Before joining MIT as an Assistant Professor, Fadel received his Masters (2013) and PhD (2016) in Computer Science from MIT and his Bachelors (2011) from AUB. His research on seeing through walls was named as one of the 50 ways MIT has transformed computer science, and his wireless sensing technology is being utilized in medical studies at major hospitals in the US. Fadel has also received the TR35 under 35 award, the NSF CAREER Award, and the ONR Young Investigator Award.
