Biography

I am a first-year PhD student at the Raspberry Pi Computing Education Research Centre, supervised by Dr. Sue Sentance. My research explores how to effectively teach children technical cybersecurity concepts, which are currently not addressed in depth within K-12 education. Specifically, my focus is on developing and evaluating interest-driven approaches that connect technical cybersecurity topics to contexts that engage young students and make difficult concepts more accessible. I aim to use my technical background to design educational interventions, and contribute to efforts to reduce the growing skills gap in the cybersecurity field.

I completed my MPhil in Advanced Computer Science at Cambridge in 2025, focusing on analysing and reverse engineering Android stalkerware applications, and was supervised by Alice Hutchings. Before this, I completed my BSc in Cyber Security at the University of Warwick.

As someone who has greatly benefitted from mentorship and teaching in cybersecurity myself, I'm always happy to get in touch with students, teachers or outreach initiatives. Please feel free to email me to talk about all things cyber!
